Simply Ifni

9th April

Sixteen years ago today, our Jon was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Who'd have thought it! So to celebrate this life changing event, we thought a nice long walk on the beach was most appropriate! With joy in our hearts as well as Jon and Jaimie, we left any sadness behind and lived for today. A beautiful day.

Way along the beach, structures appeared as if from War of the Worlds. Old giants from past industry animate the skyline. We don't know what they were but guess at conveyor belt towers for loading up ships out to sea?

Such redundant structures appear to be marching as to war, with the cross of........Morocco! Marching on before. Whoops,   I'm getting carried away now.

So to some wildlife photography! just three shots of 'Three little birds', which just happens to be a Bob Marley track we used to listen to with our Jon all those years ago.

sea bird

swallow bird

Hawk bird
Such a pleasure to catch these little birds on camera, almost as pleasurable as meeting the three lads in the photo below, who asked us if we could take a photo of them! They were delighted to be in the shot with Krysia, Well who wouldn't be!

So to finish off today, a beautiful sunset and some words from a lovely song

'So you don't worry, about a thing
'Cos every little thing's, gonna be alright'

Which we hope it is with all of you.
goodnight
