Pleasant summer-like weather, welsh summer that is, and a day of just hanging around the van being neighbourly and sociable! I think I had forgotten that when we were younger we used to do this more often. Yes there were stimulants other than coffee we might well have indulged in in those days but the behaviour was the same. Being at ease with doing nothing, well nothing is the wrong word as by just breathing we are doing something! It is more like doing as it happens and that might be sharing Jam's we have made or learning how to crochet, trying to talk in Spanish or Arabic. Just being here.
Diana and Liher are a Spanish couple leaving one world behind and are setting off to travel through Africa to Madagascar. Here, she is learning to crochet for the first time. With them are two cats, a dog and a ferret!
All fitting inside a small 4*4 !, an ex Swiss army vehicle.

Krysia is reminded how to crochet by Tierra and spends the rest of the day absorbed in making a skirt! A peaceful meditation.
And Zacarius is happy to chat in the sun about all things in life especially if he can bring humour into the subject. Coming from Chile has given him a different perspective on life. He is at ease being happy and vibrant.
We take a late afternoon walk, following an old road up the valley. Erosion has made this track unusable for most vehicles, as no effort has been made to repair the flood damage. Nice and quiet though!
As the day draws to end, we stroll back past nomads herding their goats and a setting sun to reflect upon.
