3rd April
A well needed wash for the van today! She might be getting on and rust is sprouting all over the place but she still turns heads as she sparkles in the sun! It's another Welsh summer's day again and our Spanish friends say that it's too cold! I suppose it's what we are used too. It's 20 deg C with a good breeze blowing off the sea. Fantastic.
Krysia continues her crocheting today, with a fine enthusiasm. As you can see, the skirt is nearly ready! Well, a little more work I think before walking through town in it! But it's coming on fine. Watch this space for the finished garment.
Our afternoon walk is a delight in the hills amongst the Argan trees. Herds of goats and their shepherds carpet the landscape on their daily quest for fodder. It's so dry at the moment but the goats look healthy as do the Nomads, so we assume all is well with these folk. We come face to face with a family who smile and say Labes, the ladies from behind veils look enchanting with only their pretty eyes on view. We respectfully keep the camera in it's bag!
As we walk back to the van, a weather spectacle catches our eyes. A twister is crossing the bay with a water chute quite visible, it passes uncomfortably close to a fishing boat who must have had a front row seat.
It passes and all is well, leaving the fishermen safe as it moves on out to sea.
Before going to bed, I spot an email from The Beautiful Days festival site, saying tickets are selling out fast! So I promptly put in an order for tickets and make a date in August for some more Beautiful Days!
May you all be well
