A day in the Garden and Krysia's Birthday

2nd and 3rd March.
Friday was a glorious day on the farm. Hot as you'd want it and as calm as it can get. As the pictures show, this is a beautifully kept garden, as tranquil as you could imagine. Amongst the colour of flowering bushes, birds are singing their hearts out all day long.

Mum takes her breakfast out in the garden which is served by lovely NosHa, the cook and maid, who's job here seems to be keeping us all fed and happy.

Krysia and I join mum out in the garden with our home made breakfast as the sun warms up and shade is sought out before too long.

It's very warm here and there's even a swimming pool! Which although is very cold it's oh so tempting and bikini's are put on even if only for posing for model photos under the palm trees!

We have a Cous-cous lunch as it's Friday, cooked by NosHa, served with style around the pool.

Sitting and chatting around the pool.

While mum has a nap, we walk into the orangery and explore this lush farm. It's growing sweetcorn amongst other things, along with courgettes, aubergines and of course oranges.

Saturday 3rd March. Krysia's Birthday

It's a day out for an adventure today, so off we drive in search of just that. Not too far away, we find a palmery, oasis and tranquility.
We stop to have a cup of tea on the way to marvel at these endless Argan trees and the dry environment they grow in. With the High atlas as a backdrop and the hot sun on our backs, we truly feel we are in Africa.

At the palmery we find a lovely place to stop for lunch and a nap!, followed by a delightful walk through the date palms and the various crops that are grown underneath.

All the locals are super pleasant and along with a cool breeze, this is an idyllic place to take Mum on Krysia's Birthday. Happy Birthday Krysia.

In the evening we are treated to a fine tajine cooked by NosHa, with a tasty desert to follow. We even have a bottle of wine to celebrate Krysia's third birthday in a row in Morocco. We are starting to become regulars now!
