It's Jaimie's Birthday Tomorrow, Today!

And getting one's head around that is quite a head spin ! but it is Jaimie's Birthday in Australia now and its not until tomorrow here!
So it's Happy Birthday dear Jaimie, happy birthday to you. We happen to know that Storm has surprised you with a couple of nights in a hotel in Melbourne as a Birthday treat, your first visit to the big city, so it'll be a very special celebration.

Our day has been spent around the campsite in the sun until after lunch.
A lovely lazy morning with a cat and dog duel to entertain us, which needless to say, the cat won! The dog circled it's tiny foe for 10 minutes, as if it was going to outsmart the tiny feline warrior. It was not to be. When the final conflict took place, the cat attacked with lightening speed sending the dog whelping back to it's furious French owners, What a wimp. What a cat.
The air is cold again today but the sun is delightful.
Being a Sunday there is a lot of weekend visitors zooming aroud the roads in their mercedes, porche and quad bikes. A smart jet set around here.

We walk after lunch onto the Robinson Plage? as it's called. Crusoe perhaps? and are immediately accosted by three lovely fellows who want no more than to have their photos taken with us!!??
We've no idea why and leave them smiling with thank you's.

On the beach we find a derelict holiday complex, left deserted and yet as pretty as the picture shows
We walk the 5 kms to Cap Spartel, the most north western corner of Africa. It's a long beach, only spoilt by goons on their Quad bikes, zooming amongst the families and lovers that are enjoying the warm afternoon sun.
At the point is a lighthouse, shining it's light over all the ships coming into the Mediterranean. The ocean is awesome here. To the west the Americas. To the south The Antarctic and the cape's. To the north Europe and on to the Arctic. Big ocean

So to end our day, we hear you all singing, Happy Birthday dear Jaimie, Happy Birthday to you.

Oh and lets not forget the little hero of today,
who stood her ground in the face of overwhelming odds.
