Took the van for a final check over by Hayden of Merc Tech. He says all's well, have a safe journey. I needed a short piece of pipe for a job I had forgotten to do and ended up at a garage being dealt with by a young lad who had been in the same class as our Jon, Tom Walters! He was as surprised as we were. He sorted us out with a smile on his face and we left him thinking how grown up he looks! He's 24 and its hard to imagine what our Jon would have looked like as a grown man. Jaimie rang us from Australia, she's doing well. Just been to a festival outside Melbourne somewhere. She's having the time of her life and being so well cared for by Eve and Ross. there were fishcakes in the fridge waiting for them when they got back from their weekend away.
So its on with the packing, putting the motor bike on in the snow and mud was taxing but its not long now till the off and the next time the bike is used, it should be dry and warm, Insh'allah!
Blogs will start up properly when we get to Morocco, which should be next Saturday or thereabouts. So wish us luck on our voyage and tune in when you've got the time.
